Tax Deductible donations for Dick Thompson's memorial award at Radnor Hunt Horse Trials are being accepted.
October 11, 2014 The Radnor Hunt Horse Trials continues a 40+ year tradition of autumn eventing in the Radnor Hunt countryside of Malvern, PA. Our mission is to perpetuate the sport of eventing in the Radnor Hunt area, to support the local and regional equestrian community, and to have fun while doing it. The 2014 event is a USEA recognized event, with Novice, Training and Preliminary/Training level divisions. The PT division will have several Preliminary Options.
Come join us. Entries open August 27, 2014 and close September 24, 2014.
The organizing committee is proud to continue sponsoring the $ 1000 Richard Thompson Memorial Award, given to the rider at any level who wins their division by the greatest percentage relative to their division.
We hold an annual Pig Roast on the grounds that begins around 3:30. We welcome all but ask for a small donation at the door from those who are not competitors, volunteers and sponsors. The pig roast includes delicious pig, salads of all kinds, yummy desserts, and beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We hold a Silent Auction in the Pig Roast tent all day that benefits the Richard Thompson Memorial Award Fund.
Please consider helping us by purchasing a sponsorship or participating in the Silent Auction. Your sponsorship and auction items will allow our tradition to move ever forward and our facilities to be maintained at a very high level. Every year, our net proceeds are used to enhance our courses and facilities, as well as support organizations that benefit the Radnor Hunt Equestrian Community and the surrounding countryside. Radnor Hunt Horse Trials has donated to many worthy enterprises over the years, including: Willistown Conservation Trust, Radnor Hunt Pony Club, and the Radnor Hunt Foundation to name a few. View our We Give Back page for detailed information.
We hope you will be a part of the Radnor Hunt Horse Trials tradition, be it as a competitor, sponsor, groom, spectator, volunteer or vendor.
